Time for Back to School : Backpacks Notebooks Appointments

As you are checking off that supply list for back to school be sure to include plans for scheduling eye exams for all the members of your family. Both optometrists, Dr. Douglas Weiss and Dr. Victoria M. Weiss provide eye exams for school age children at their location in Fluvanna County in Palmyra off of Route 600 / South Boston Road at 5 Centre Court.

If sports are on the schedule for your children we offer protective prescription eyewear for children and teens. Stop in the office to discuss options available.

Summer time News :: New Hours

Welcome summer ! School is out and our daily schedule and pace of life may be changing. Be sure to set up an annual eye exam with either of our optometrists. Both Dr. Victoria M. Weiss and Dr. Douglas Weiss are accepting new patients. 

Our staff is happy to discuss new eyeglass options with you. We can explore Transitions lenses and the benefits offered. Did you know there is a brand new Graphite Green Transitions photochromic lens that has recently launched? Check out http://www.Transitions.com and stop by to chat with us.

Sunglasses with a great Xperio polarized lens also afford many great benefits for daily life. Welcome Spring ! We gladly accept eyeglasses you can no longer use for donation.

It is that time of year when we are ready to clear out our closets and drawers for “spring cleaning”. Drs. Weiss’ office will happily accept your eye wear you no longer need that is in gently used condition. It is a great way to recycle and most importantly help someone else. The Rivanna Lion’s Club will upcycle the glasses for those in need. While you are at the office take a look at our new frame inventory that is always updating as well. We have a great selection from a variety of frame manufacturers to suit each unique personality and style. We are happy to assist you while browsing or making that selection. If you need an eye exam both optometrists are accepting new patients. Dr. Douglas Weiss and Dr. Victoria M. Weiss have appointments available usually within a week of your call to schedule the appointment.
